Septic Tank Information
The Metropolitan Sewer Sub-District will reimburse you once every three years up to $125 for having your septic tank pumped. Call them at 277-4442 and request a form. They will verify your address and Greenville County residency, then mail the form to you. You must submit a receipt from the septic tank service company along with the signed form you receive in the mail. Their address is:

If you are not sure where exactly your tank and lines are, contact DHEC directly about getting a copy of the permit for Onsite Sewage Treatment and Disposal System for your property. They will probably need your lot number. The number for the Septic Tank Program is 282-4146.
